Any person wishing to become a volunteer member of North Logan Fire Department must be at least 18 years of age and reside or work within the North Logan City limits. Consideration may be given to those who reside or work within one mile of the Fire Station. Eligibility is subject to review and approval from the North Logan Fire Department hiring committee and Fire Chief.

We appreciate you and your interest in volunteering and becoming part of the North Logan Fire Department. It is a very challenging, but rewarding job. People who join the department do so for a wide variety of reasons. Fire and medical emergency prevention, fire suppression, Haz-Mat emergency response, medical emergency response, training, and public education are just a few of the reasons.

The hiring process includes a thorough review of your submitted application, a formal interview with a hiring committee made up of Fire Department Officers and members at large, and an interview with the Fire Chief. The applications can take time to process; however you will be notified in a letter as your application is processed. Hiring will be based on the needs of the department, and the qualifications and circumstances of the applicant, such as location of residence and availability to volunteer.
